I was raised surrounded by nature and hardworking artisans, which laid the foundation for my skills and learning journey. This environment shaped my way of thinking and learning. Both my parents were expert painters in fine art and applied art, and our family had a tradition of farming and carpentry, specializing in the construction of traditional houses and riverboats. Growing up in a small delta village with limited resources, I learned survival, resourcefulness, and upcycling skills from the adults around me. As children, we absorbed these lessons, helping our family wherever we could, and learning to create toys from materials we had or found. My early interests included drawing, painting, and crafting models of kites, houses, towns, and motor vehicles. Art has always been a part of me, and I continue to create spaces that enhance people's work and lives.
